Partying With The P

Nanz with her VAIO P at the party

Nanz Inc recently held a party at Stereolab. It was a little makeup party that we had with Make Up For Ever.

The team and I were at our venue early, to prep ourselves and to get the set-up, guest lists and all that were in place. Of course, being an online business, it also meant we needed to have web access.

I brought the VAIO P Series today — my regular laptop is a TT but I just wanted an Internet companion to do some quick surfing on. Also, the VAIO P Series has the right look, if you know what I mean. It’s gold and slim and you could mistake it for a clutch.

In between makeup and accessories matching, I did a quick check on our site (thanks to the one-button web access function, it was fast), and Tweeted about getting ready for our party. Always a fun thing to do and I love watching followers comment fast and furiously after every Tweet!

Hazel from Gothic Princess (77th Street’s new brand) came bringing rings, necklaces and bracelets for us to try on and wear for the night! Can you believe it, we felt like such superstars. I love the multicolour stones in the cuff I wore.

But of course, the ladies liked the VAIO P Series as an accessory too! Who wouldn’t?

Stereolab was the perfect venue for our party performances: we had Urban Drum Crew, three strapping young men who played drums like they were born to do it (plus, they did it shirtless so that our friends from Make Up For Ever could create “clothes” with body paint!), and we also had four beautiful bellydancers (with bellies covered in professional makeup too) from Claribel Rak Shaki who had the whole crowd shaking and shimmying to Shakira.

Lots of fun for everyone! The next time round, the VAIO P Series is coming with me again.

The party sounded like a lot of fun. I like the fact the VAIO P Series was used as an accessory! That to me is really cool and trendy. I reckon that we should be able to carry our laptops anywhere we like and the VAIO P Series seems perfect for that!
